Galashiels and Area Foodbank supports a wide range of need in the Borders. As the Pandemic’s effects continue we are seeing increased levels of suffering. Around 100 families a month now receive assistance but our work depends entirely on your support. Our clients are very grateful in their time of need:
“You helped us. It was a dark place for us all.”
“We used our savings as the house deposit. The baby got Covid and then so did we so neither of us could work. But thanks to the Foodbank we kept our house and fed the family.”
A small sum can make a very large difference:
- £15 feeds a family of 4 for a week.
- £50 means a family will be fed for a month
- £100 lets us plan to help more people in need longer term
We are grateful for any and all donations.For those able to Gift Aid an additional 25 % is added by the government.
