With the cost of living crisis spiralling and more families being pushed in to poverty, we are calling on our amazing supporters to ask if you can give just £1 so that we can continue our vital work across the borough.

Story

On the Tuesday 5th July 2022 our family’s world was turned upside down by the news that my brother Rob Waring had passed away suddenly after contracting Covid-19.

Rob has left a massive hole in our lives that will never be filled, however, on behalf of my parents and the rest of the family, I want to thank those that have taken the time to reach out and express their heartfelt condolences. As a family we have taken some comfort from the kind words and messages of sympathy we have received.

We are respectfully requesting family flowers only at Rob’s funeral,  however, if anyone would like to make a donation in Rob’s name, this is the Just Giving page for The Brick in Wigan.

The Brick was a charitable organisation close to Rob’s heart and we can’t think of a more deserving charity of your support.
