My wonderful mum was diagnosed with CJD early in 2009.  This disease is a degenerative, invariably fatal brain disorder.  She suffered for 2 years before she passed away in Sep 2011.  The CJD Support Network were amazing in helping to pay towards my mothers care fees and also were there for us to chat to when we needed answers or just needed to talk about things.

Anyone who knew my mum will remember her as a funny, confident and loving person.  This desease stripped our family of her and i hope that one day they can cure CJD. Please give generously so they can do more research into curing this horendous disease
