Scott Gorman Whitecollar Boxing

WHITE COLLAR FIGHT CLUB - London, 17 March 2023 · 17 March 2023 ·
On Friday 17 March 2023 I will be stepping into the ring for my very first boxing match with a goal to raise awareness and funds for the 'Campaign Against Living Miserably' (CALM), a UK charity dedicated to preventing suicide.
With your support, my aim is to make a difference in the lives of those struggling with their mental health. Whether you choose to buy tickets to cheer on myself, or make a direct donation to CALM via this page, your contributions will help to save lives and create a brighter future for everyone. Every punch thrown and every dollar raised will make a real impact on the lives of those in need!
So here is what is on offer:
Option 1: The Gold Class Seats (£50 donation)
If you would like to get close to the action and hear the thud of every punch, then I have 12x, crème de la crème, ringside seats for sale. This includes a three course meal and an opportunity to yell words of encouragement, banter or condolences as I battle my way in the ring.
To book a ticket please check availability with myself first, then donate £50, or more if you are feeling charitable, via this page.
Option 2: Direct Donation:
If you can’t make the evening, but would like to contribute, then you can do so directly from this page.
Option 3: The Other Seats:
If you would like to join myself on the evening but just can’t quite afford the asking price, then you are more than welcome to buy alternate tickets via this website:
https://www.thewhitecollarfightclub.co.uk/
Just keep in mind that all proceeds from the sale of these tickets go to the organiser to pay for the running costs of the night, not the charity. Hence it would be good if you could throw in a few extra pounds towards CALM if this is your preferred option.

What is the dress code for the event?
"The official dress code is black tie so come dressed to impress and cheer your champion on in style. We expect maximum effort; don’t let us down" - The White Collar Fight Club
Where can I find out more about CALM?
Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide. Every week 125 people in the UK take their own lives. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. CALM exists to change this by offering life saving services, provoking conversation and bringing people together to reject living miserably. From advice on our site, through to free, confidential chats with our helpline staff, online or on the phone, we’re here for whoever needs us, every day. No matter what. £8 is enough to fund one potentially life-saving call.
Please refer to their website here for more information: https://www.thecalmzone.net/
How are you handling the money donated?
I will not be handling any money. All donations made by this website go directly to CALM and The White Collar Fight Club will also be updated on funds I raise.
Do all proceeds for the ‘Option 1 Ringside Seats’ go to CALM?
Yes absolutely all proceeds go to CALM. The reason for this is that I’ve already purchased the tickets and thus all I’m asking is that you match what I’ve spent. I did this as I feel like I should pay my own way to undertake this adventure and anything spent by others should go to charity.
On the other hand, the money spent on any other seats go to the organiser as mentioned above (see Option 3). Keep in mind however the organiser does this in partnership with CALM and has raised a lot of money for them over the past few years.
Who is organising this event?
The event is being organised by The White Collar Fight Club who have organised 23 previous events over a number of years. More information on this organisation can be found here: https://www.thewhitecollarfightclub.co.uk/
Is white collar boxing safe?
I get asked this question all the time and thus I thought I would answer on this page.
The reality is that this is a real boxing match and based on sparring to date the punches do really hurt. However there are a lot of safety precautions in place and hence I’m personally feeling safe and well protected going into this event.
Precautions include:
16oz gloves (one of the thickest options)
Head guard and mouth guard.
Fighters are matched as evenly as possible
Matches are overseen by professional referees.
Pre and post fight medical checks are performed by onsite paramedics.
