Please dig deep and sponsor us online.  Money raised will go towards The Cancer Screening Appeal.  This appeal hopes to raise £400,000 towards helping Bedford Hospital replace all existing endoscopy equipment with state-of-the-art instruments which will detect cancer before it gives rise to symptoms and when treatment is most likely to be effective.  For example regular bowel screening has been shown to reduce the risk of dying by 16%

Bedford Hospitals Charity has raised £5.5million for a variety of projects since it was founded in 1988.  Most recently £300,000 was raised for a chemotherapy preparation unit.
