Story

Thank you very much for getting this far....!

On the 25th of August 2018, I will be teaming up with my good friend and comedy genius Johnny Vegas in a 'rugby challenge' at half-time during the Challenge Cup Final at Wembley.

Johnny has kindly agreed to support this event, which we will be challenging three other 'ex-player & celebrity' pairs, including ex-Wigan & GB star Martin Offiah and The Last Leg star Adam Hills. The challenge will consist of several rugby skills, finishing with a goal kick over the posts on the hallowed turf!

As you will see, we have chosen to support and fundraise for Ward 84 (Oncology & Haematology ward) at The Royal Manchester Children's Hospital.

Why these?

Well, in 2013, aged just four my youngest daughter Evie was diagnosed with Wilms Tumour, cancer of the kidney. As you can imagine our world crumbled. We were immediately taken under the amazing care of Dr Penn and his team at Ward 84. I can not speak highly enough about these people and the care and love they showed us throughout this horrendous time.

Following several bouts of chemotherapy and surgery to remove both the tumour and kidney, Evie made a full recovery, and is now a fit and healthy 9yr old! She actually has her last check-up and 5 year all clear 3days after the Final on the 28th of August.

I could never raise enough money to repay what this place has done for me and my family, but any funds raised will help them to continue to provide the priceless care to others in need.

Please if you can spare any donation, it would be very much appreciated.

Many thanks

Scully & Johnny xx
