Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Earlier this month we said goodbye to a cherished son, uncle, brother, cousin and dear friend Mike Inkster. He was taken from us so suddenly and at such a young age.

Mike was a volunteer for RSPB and in tribute to Mike as well as a place where we can remember him , we want to raise £750 for a memorial bench at RSPB Pulborough Brooks Reserve.

‘In Memorial Benches’  – are placed on sites that the Wardens have selected as suitable places for a bench to be installed, they are chosen for their view and placement within a habitat.  The installation, timber,  plaque and construction costs £750.All donations go straight to the RSPB and if we miss the target, we will talk to RSPB about the best use of the money. This might include Hedge Laying, Bee Log Hives or an entry  in the ‘Book of Remembrance’ – this is for an inscription to be made into the Book of Remembrance that is held at the Reserve, and every day it is turned to the days’ date.

Please help us all remember Mike and get to the target.

Sean and all Mike's family and friends
