Story

So what started as a little fitness challenge between my wife and I has taken on a life of its own, with an unbelievable £1200 raised before we have even started our challenge on March 1st!

Obviously, the stakes have been raised so we're both now on a mission to raise as much awareness and £’s as we can for this amazing charity in memory of our daughter Alessa 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼

Cara will be taking on the 50 mile challenge, whilst as a keen rugby player and regular runner, we decided it was only fair I double up (!) - I'll therefore be running 100 miles during the month.

We'll be joining other bereaved families and their supporters as we jog 150 miles between March 1st and March 31st to show our support for families who've lost a baby. Sands want to ensure that everyone affected by the loss of a baby gets the support they need and deserve when facing the toughest of times. We want to help campaign for change and support research so that fewer babies die and so that fewer families experience the pain of losing a baby. Every step we will be taking will help ensure that no one faces the loss of a baby alone. Together we will continue to do all that we can to stop families from experiencing the devastating tragedy we went through ourselves back in 2013.

If a donation is not something you can do right now in the present climate, then every share is just as appreciated.

Thanks, you lovely people’s, you xx
