Dogs Trust is the largest dog welfare charity in the UK. We love all dogs, and the people who love dogs too. We care for dogs in need through our network of 22 centres across the UK and Ireland, finding them loving new homes. A dog is for Life, not just for Christmas ©

Story

In September 2023, I'm doing the National 3 Peaks challenge with two fellow Bluenoses Joel and Josh to raise money for two charities. The challenge is to conquer the 3 biggest Peaks in England, Scotland and Wales inside 24 hrs. It requires the challenge of the actual climbs, lots of travelling, planning and sleep deprivation.

The two charities are;

The NSPCC; in memory of Arthur Labinjo-Hughes, a young Birmingham City fan who tragically lost his life at 6 yrs old after being abused for months by his parents and the Dogs Trust; I've donated to this brilliant charity for 6 years now.

As a father of two young children and a dog owner these two causes really hit home.

As part of the challenge my 5 year Patterdale Terrier, Tilly, is going to come with me on a lot of the training and some of the warm up/practice events...(She absolutely loves hiking and can run all day).

I'll be documenting all the training too, which you can follow on Instargam at https://www.instagram.com/huntys89/ - wish us luck and please donate.
