Heartlands Hospital Charity is raising £500,000 to transform the children's areas at the hospital, making them brighter and more child friendly so that visiting children feel as comfortable as possible.

Story

June 2016 my mom was diagnosed with bowel cancer, within the 3 years the cancer grew and spread to the liver and lungs. She received regular treatment to try and kill off the cancerous cells but sadly on 29th August 2019 my beautiful mom passed away.

A hole has been left in our family forever & our hearts will never recover. My mom was the most caring & loveable person you could wish to meet. When she was in hospital receiving chemo she would walk to all the other patients giving out tea & coffee. That just shows the type of person she is.

My mom always said that when she was better and recovered she would try to raise money in a way to say thank you to Ward 19 for the help they gave her. To carry out her wishes we are hosting a fundraising event at St. Anne’s social club in Digbeth. We hope people can make it, but if you can’t, we would be extremely thankful for any donations that we can receive through his page.
