Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'll be riding with Team Ride2Barcelona on behalf of Lingen Davies Cancer Fund who do so much to support local cancer victims and their families, a cause very dear to my heart.  

Covering 850 miles & climbing over 57,000ft in 8 days, Team ride2barcelona are cycling from Silverstone, the home of British Motorsport, to the Circuit de Barcelona Catalunya in Spain!

Starting on Saturday 2nd May, 36 Riders and 4 Support Team volunteers will set off from Silverstone on their epic journey and head South to Portsmouth. After Day 1, an overnight ferry will take them across the English Channel to Saint Malo on the North Coast of France. From there, the Team continue South to Nantes, onto Rochefort and Langon, before a night in Lourdes before climbing the Pyrenees. Taking on the Col du Tourmalet, the Col d’Aspin and the Col du Portillon (weather permitting!) they arrive in Vielha just inside Spain on Thursday. Spending another day in the Pyrenees and staying in La Coma on Friday, a shorter 75 mile last day to the finish line in Barcelona awaits the Team, hopefully arriving in the afternoon on Saturday 9th May!
