The Cure Parkinson's Trust is the only organisation in the UK solely dedicated to finding a cure for Parkinson's. CPT was founded in 2005 by four people living with the condition and so it takes a patient-centric approach to funding innovative projects and inspirational scientists to modify the progression of Parkinson's and to find a cure.

My late father Pat, suffered from Parkinson`s and so we have seen first hand what a cruel and debilitating disease it is. So my daughter Grace and I have decided to walk from the source of the River Thames near Cirencester along the Thames Path to the Thames Barrier - a mere 184 miles. 

We will start out on the 8th May 2020 and fingers crossed aim to finish 7 days later averaging a marathon a day.
