I've been working with Launchpad Reading for many years and can see at first hand the fantastic work it does to prevent homelessness in the Reading area.

Now is a great time to be supporting them because

• While some of us have saved during the pandemic, it has been a struggle for many of those Launchpad serves, and it is going to get even more difficult over the coming years;
• Launchpad has just opened a Life and Skills Centre which alongside the housing and support services it provides is doing so much to help homeless people rebuild their lives;
• I've been offered match funding (max £5,000) so every pound you give is doubled.   If we get to the target of £4,000 then we will be able to help pay for 4 rough sleepers to move into their own Launchpad self-contained flats so they have a clean and safe home and help to keep the Launchpad Life and Skills Centre running for a month.

l am aiming for a half marathon time of 1.35 hours with a stretch target of 1.30 (which would be turning the clock back 30 years) so appreciate your support to spur me on.
