Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. A few years ago I lost my Granddad to complications arising from late stage Alzheimer's. It was really hard watching the man who had inspired me so much for my entire life succumb to this horrible disease and there was really very little anyone could do except make him as comfortable as possible in the last years of his life.

When he passed away, instead of flowers at the funeral, my Nana asked for people to donate to the Alzheimer's Society. Following on from this I would like also like to pledge my support to this charity.

As a challenge I'll be playing a video game, Final Fantasy VII, from beginning to end within 24hrs! This will be a bit of a challenge, it means only be taking breaks when nature calls and to briefly grab food/drinks, so I won't be stepping away from the game for more than 10mins every 2hrs (the recommended safety break).

I'm aiming to raise £300 to give to the Alzheimer’s Society to help fund their research and the care that that they offer those suffering from this debilitating disease, so please, if you are able to, please donate generously!

I'll be playing from 6am Saturday 16th December (GMT) till 6am Sunday 17th December.
