I am undertaking the amazing challenge of running the 2023 London Marathon to raise much needed money for Rennie Grove Peace Hospice Care.

My mums long term partner fought a two year battle with terminal cancer and spent his last days at the hospice under the loving care of the amazing staff there. The fact they were able to look after and accommodate him on his final days meant so much to both him and my mum. Being able to spend his final days out of hospital and in their care meant a great deal to him and my mum and the support they offer families through counselling was amazing.

Rennie Grove Hospice Care is a charity providing care and support for adults and children diagnosed with cancer and other life-limiting illness and their families living in the Bucks and Herts area.

Every year through their 24/7 Hospice at Home service for adults, their Children's Hospice at Home service, their Family support services and the range of Day Services at Grove House they give thousands of patients the choice to stay at home, surrounded by their families and friends.

Being able to run on behalf of such an amazing charity is an amazing honour and will give me the motivation to push on when I hit the inevitable wall!
