Story
Went to Bolton Hospice today because our companies raised just over a grand for em in little fundraisers over the last 12 months. They took us on a tour of the whole hospice and went through everything they do for people who have life limiting conditions and that it costs £6,000,000 to run the hospice every year yet the government only give them £1,250,000 per year - the rest is fundraised. On the tour they showed me the memoriam for previous residents that had passed that I didn't even know existed, found mum in there and it brought back a lot of bad memories. And then it's all the "What if's", "Why mum", "Why my family" and all sorts going round in my head. But this is life unfortunately. Life isn't fair. This year has been my worst year for fitness. Not been gym in 2 months. Been on 1 run all year and that was months ago and I haven't climbed a single mountain. So next month I've set myself the challenge, in memory of my gorgeous mum Elaine Fitzharris that I'll do 100k in May for Bolton Hospice; running, walking, swimming and climbing to commemorate the fantastic end of life care they gave to my mum and the work they do for everyone else's loved ones in Bolton❤️the justgiving link is in the comments or you can message me for it. ❤️ for Mrs P
