Link Community Development - Hitch 2010 · 23 April 2010 ·

Link believes all children have the right to a good quality education. We work with schools and communities in Ethiopia, Ghana, Malawi and Uganda. By sharing and developing skills we are bringing about long-lasting change, helping over a million children have a better start in life.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On the 4th April 2010, we will begin our hitch to Morroco raising money for Link Community Development. We will be hitch-hiking through England, France, Spain and Morocco until we reach Marakesh, from which we will fly home on the 17th April.

Link Community Develpoment is a very worthy cause. They work in sub-saharan Africa, providing quality and sustainable eduaction, health support and wellbeing to the young people there. Working to improve the severly bad standards of living that these children have been born into and give them a chance to improve their lives. To participate, each of us has to raise a minimum of £350.00. We are currently undertaking various fund-raising activities in Manchester, where we all study at university, to achieve our target. Any donation of any size is very much appreciated and will help us raise as much money as possible for LCD.
