Ocean Youth Trust (OYT) Scotland is an award-winning voluntary organisation and youth work charity. For 25 years, we have been transforming the lives of disadvantaged young people through residential youth work voyages. To date, the Trust has supported more than 16,000 young people aged 12-25 from a range of backgrounds and circumstances across Scotland.

Story

I'm helping race on a Challenger 72 from the Isle of Mull in Scotland. Barclays London will be racing Barclays Glasgow to help raise money for OYT Scotland.

OYT Scotland inspire young people from all backgrounds and all  abilities, teaching them life-changing and life-saving skills.

Sailing helps build respect, responsibility, confidence, resilience and teamwork. It has had a huge influence on my life, I was fortunate enough to be taught how to sail when I was a kid and the experience made a huge impact on me.

Whether racing dinghies or cruising on yachts the days and weeks I spent learning to sail helped me travel the world and I very greatful to be able to champion the sport.

Any donation large or small will be really appreciated and will give young people a chance to tak part in a life-changing sport!

Thanks,

Seb
