The Transaid London to Paris Challenge · 22 September 2017 to 25 September 2017 ·
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page where you can donate to our cause for Transaid, as we take part in the London to Paris Challenge in September 2017.
Gary, Steve and Dean will be teaming up with other riders from the logistics and storage industry to get to Paris from London in just 3 days. This challenging route will cover approximately 240 miles through the rolling English countryside and the breathtaking panorama of Northern France. We will finish at the iconic structure of the Eiffel Tower!
Transaid is an international development charity that identifies, champions, implements and shares local transport solutions which improve access to basic services and economic opportunity for poor people in developing countries.
We believe passionately in the work that Transaid does. In the UK we take for granted the role the logistics industry plays in our lives, from delivering goods to supermarkets to emergency healthcare. Having recently sponsored a Bicycle Ambulance which will be used in Sub-Saharan Africa we were compelled to continue our fundraising for Transaid.
Dean is a keen mountain biker but has never thrown a leg over a road bike with Gary and Steve having little experience. This will be a true challenge for all the team. Please donate as much or as little as you can!
