Story
You will have seen on television the terrible flooding and human suffering that has happened in Somerset this year. With almost 50 square miles of land under water for such a long period, the small mammal population will have been totally wiped out. We don’t know how long such populations will take to recover. Hibernating insects and worms will have drowned, impacting on all species that need these sources of food to survive. Even the grass on which swans and deer forage will have disappeared.
This why, we must be ready to help any animal once we are able to get to areas where some may have survived. These animals will be crucial for the repopulation of these areas and we desperately need to give nature a helping hand.
Please can you donate to help us in this catastrophic situation? We have to be ready to do everything we can to Save our Survivors.
