Here we go again :)
It’s been 4 years since my last challenge so thought it was about time I did another one which happens to be my biggest yet! Along with Ali Davey, we will be taking on the Jurassic Coast for 100km in only 2 days, eek!!
And whilst it might seem like a nice walk by the sea, the hills make it one of the toughest ultra treks there is.
As many of you know, I’m continuing to raise money for this great charity as I’ve seen first hand what Alzheimer’s can do to someone. My mum was first diagnosed at the young age of 56, and after an 8 year battle, she sadly passed away on 31st August 2018 and I will be taking on this challenge in her memory.
The money raised by the charity not only goes to helping find a cure but provides the much needed support and care for people and their families living with dementia.
Between now and mid May, I will be following a pretty tough training plan during the week with long walks at weekends (having your training partner 200 miles away also means travelling distance to meet up to train).
Your sponsorship and words of support will really help keep us motivated over the coming months and especially on the 14th May for the start of the challenge.
So please dig deep, any amount kindly donated is hugely appreciated.
Thanks so much in advance, wish us luck! :) xx
