Learn to Love to Read is an amazing charity - impacting the lives of so many young children in the Wandsworth area in particular those from disadvantaged backgrounds. 

The power of the written word is truly priceless - it has impacted my own life in so many ways. It means much to be able to support their efforts to help children develop a lifelong love for reading.

Poor reading skills in childhood often result in limited literacy as adults which in turn results  in other risks and missed opportunities including a proven increased likelihood of unemployment, low wages, obesity and depression. 

Your donation will help Learn to Love to Read to recruit and train volunteers (parents and others from the local community) to provide 1-2-1 supports for children in Years 1 and 2 who are struggling with learning to read.
