Basically i went on a school trip to Belize last year and absolutely loved it, so i've signed up to do the same type of thing this summer in Costa Rica! The project i've signed up for is for 5 weeks in the summer, July til August, and during my time i'll spend 4 or so of the weeks participating in a community project, helping the local people with their everyday life. I'm not too sure on the exact project i'll be doing as they are constantly changing it to benefit the locals as much as possible. However as a rough idea, projects in the past have included building water supplies, building kindergartens.. that kind of thing!
