Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On 27th January 2011 mine and my families world fell apart, we lost the most amazing nanny anyone could have wished for. She was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer 11months prior. She is greatly missed by all of us and we raise money each year for the Pancreatic Cancer Research Fund. This year my 5 year old daughter Seren and her cousin George want to join in with fund raising, so we have decided on them doing a sponsored bike ride around Haverfordwest Racecourse on Saturday 26th April!
Please give them a sponsor, any amount is a great amount to us and Pancreatic Cancer Research fund!
The only money that PCRF recieve for research is money from people fundraising, even though it has the lowest survival rate.
40 years ago only 46% of women diagnosed with Breast Cancer survived longer than 5 years...today it is 80%
40 years ago only 3% of people diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer survived longer than 5years...today it is still 3%.
We need to raise as much money as possible to be able to bring this number up. So please give Seren and George a little sponsor.
