Disability Sports Australia (DSA) is one of Australia’s nine (9) National Sporting Organisations for people with a disability. Our mission is: To enable more Australians with a disability to be more active more often.

Story

I have been selected to represent Australia at the IBD World Championships in New Zealand from the 13th of February to the 2nd of March. There were 15 athletes selected into this team and I am one of the 6 female bowlers. This will be a great opportunity to gain international competition experience. The estimated costs for this trip are $4000. We receive a 50% subsidy, so I am looking at a deficit of $2000. This is obviously a great opportunity and one that I would like to pursue but the costs associated are an obstacle. I would also need to take two and a half weeks off work in order to attend the event. Any assistance in meeting this deficit would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your support and any assistance provided.
