I have been selected to represent Australia at the IBD World Championships in New Zealand from the 13^th of February to the 2^nd of March. There were 15 athletes selected into this team and I am one of the 6 female bowlers. This will be a great opportunity to gain international competition experience. The estimated costs for this trip are $4000. We receive a 50% subsidy, so I am looking at a deficit of $2000. This is obviously a great opportunity and one that I would like to pursue but the costs associated are an obstacle. I would also need to take two and a half weeks off work in order to attend the event. Any assistance in meeting this deficit would be greatly appreciated.
