Story

St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.

My family were very lucky to have St Peter’s involved at the end of Dad’s disease. After a couple of years of virtually symptom free illness, he was admitted to St Peter’s where he ended his life. Dad was a volunteer driver, and Mum a volunteer at the Clifton shop, my sister, Camilla was a volunteer aromatherapist, so we had always known about the incredible work by the hospice. Dad was a great traveller, having been in the Merchant Navy, and would be so pleased with my decision to do this not only in his and Millie’s memory, but also to raise as much needed money as I can.

Thank you.
