I and 2 of my Dungeons and Dragons buddies are 'On a Quest' - that's our super catchy team name in case you're wondering!

We will be trekking in Vietnam in November 2019, exploring mountains, valleys and rice paddies to name just a smidgeon of what we hope to see.

We will be tying our laces and padding against blisters in support of Marie Curie who provide care and support for people suffering from terminal illness. 

It won't be easy! There will be early starts, a whole lot of humidity and probably some malaria vaccines involved! 

Where your money goes....

£180 pays for a nurse's full 9 hour shift to care for someone in the comfort of their own home. 

£400 pays for someone to stay in a Marie Curie Hospice for 24 hours, so that they can receive the hands-on care they need in their final days.

£1250 pays for a portable oxygen system that will relieve distressing symptoms, so a person doesn't have to be confined to a bed.

And for all you big spenders out there...

£7767 pays for a day of high quality care at the Marie Curie Hospice, Hampstead.

Any amount you can spare to put towards a good cause will be greatly appreciated by myself, my team and of course the good people at Marie Curie. I hope that we all will never need their services, but let us support those who do.
