Swim Serpentine 2020 · 26 September 2020 ·

Every two hours someone in the UK is paralysed by a spinal cord injury. It can happen to anyone at any time and no one is prepared for how it will change their life. Aspire is a national charity that provides practical help, supporting spinal cord injured people from injury to independence.

Story

This is the end of my London Classics journey, I have ridden the 100 miles of Ride London over the Olympic road race course, dragged my body round the London Marathon route ( once i said, but who knew how that was going to pan out ) and know I'm swimming 2 miles in the Serpentine in London in a Covid world delayed from 2020, but  that's the point of doing something hard, its meant to feel good at the end, So Aspire need a few of your furloughed quids, just the cost of a round of drinks will make a huge difference looking after folks with spinal cord injuries.
