As everybody is aware Cancer is one illness which affects everybody at some stage in their lifetime be it through family, friends or even yourself. Having had friends and family who have suffered with cancer I know how hard it is for not only the survivors but also the ones who live on in their memory and that support through charities like Macmillan can help in a big way

Myself, Adam Marcham (ServiceMaster Huddersfield/Leeds) and Clive Jones (ServiceMaster Bradford) are taking part in the Longest Day Golf Challenge for the second time on Thursday 22nd June 2017 at Meltham Golf Course, Huddersfield.

In 2015 three of us completed the challenge which involved teeing off at 5.30am and sunk the final putt at 9.50pm...16hrs20mins to complete the course 4 times with an hour for lunch was hard work and not without injury but was all worth it as we raised £700 for Macmillan

This year we are one man down so hopefully that should shave a couple of hours of our time and our aim this time around is to raise At least £500 for Macmillan
