Sense is here to support disabled people from the first weeks of life through all the major milestones of adulthood. Over 70 years, we’ve built extensive knowledge and expertise in supporting disabled people with complex needs, including deafblind people.

Story

Sense are brilliant because they help people like my little brother Mylo. They look after him for a few hours each week so I can do fun stuff with Mum and Dad. In the Summer he goes on a holiday with amazing people from Sense which he loves and means I can get some special time with Mum and Dad. It costs lots of money to look after Mylo on his holiday so I want to raise as much money as possible for them!

I wanted to try and run a 10km race but I'm not allowed to because it's too far for my age. So, instead I want to run even further and I will run 5km twenty times! My aim is to run a total of 100km by the end of the year but I will do it as soon as I can!!

Thanks for reading, love Seth (age 9) 🏃🏻🏃🏻🏃🏻🏃🏻🏃🏻

I'm fundraising for Sense, a charity that believes that no one, no matter how complex their disabilities, should be isolated, left out, or unable to fulfil their potential.Their experts offer personalised support through their centres, holidays and short breaks, or in people’s own homes. They are here for everyone who needs them, for as long as they need them – providing early intervention for children, helping young people access education, and supporting the transition into adulthood and beyond.
