Settrington All Saints' Primary School - Half Term Walk

Settrington All Saints' CE Primary School is raising money for The Captain Tom Foundation

Settrington All Saints' Primary School - Half Term Walk · 13 February 2021

Captain Tom united the nation and gave hope when it was needed most. Carrying on his journey, Captain Tom and his family have identified causes which will benefit from the new Captain Tom Foundation: tackling loneliness, supporting people facing bereavement and championing education and equality.

Story

The children of Settrington All Saints' C of E Primary School have been challenged, along with their family, to get out and about in their local area over the half-term break to walk 100 miles as a school community. This is in recognition of the 100miles walked by Captain Sir Tom Moore, and all funds raised through sponsorship of the children will go to The Captain Tom Foundation.
