Some years ago a very close friend gave birth to a beautiful little boy. I had followed her pregancy with anticipation and was looking forward to meeting them both. Due to a genetic condition, the baby died after a couple of days and I never did meet him. This was in a different country but I was impressed with the high quality of support and medical research they received. 

A few years later when my friend was pregnant again, they were followed again very closely by GOSH's equivalent and went on to have 3 further healthy children. I am hoping that with funding, further parents might get early diagnosis and help, support or just the possibility to stay in a room by their child in some difficult times.
