On the 21st July 1981, Severn Trent and other members of the UK water industry united to create a single international organisation dedicated to the water crises, because one didn’t exist. Together, we founded WaterAid.

Over the past 40 years, we have worked in partnership
towards a shared vision of clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene for everyone, everywhere and have raised over £150 million for the charity.

There is still a long way to go and together we can make a bigger difference.
