The RPMF raises vital funds to help and support young aspiring British athletes reach their true potential. We help athletes make the difficult transition from junior to senior level, building their confidence and self esteem through recognition and helping retain their talent within the sport.

Story

Seymour Distribution (with the help of Jo from Investors Chronicle) are entering a team into the 2015 Virgin London Marathon at the request of Athletics Weekly Magazine and on behalf of the Ron Pickering Memorial Fund.

“The RPMF raise funds to help aspiring athletes to become the next generation of British Olympians. They help recipients make the difficult transition from junior to senior level with support for equipment, specialist coaching or travel and help build their confidence and self-esteem through recognition.”

The team of 5 foolhardy individuals are:

Tony Campbell (a seasoned antipodean athlete with 10 marathons already under his straining belt)

Dan Sims (Hockey legend & captain of the Seymour lunchtime running society)

Alex Drummond (Hockey Wunderkind and fitness fanatic)

Jo Edwards (2013 Paris Marathon finisher and the most enthusiastic about this whole project)

James Shields (often jogs to the shops to buy crisps)

Needless to say, your support in raising money for our charity would hugely appreciated.
