On the 24th of July we are putting on RoofChella, an afternoon of live music from South London. The event is raising money for Shelter from the Storm,  where I have been doing night shifts since last winter. The music will be livestreamed for all to enjoy wherever they might be.

Shelter from the Storm is a free emergency shelter in North London providing food, a bed, and support with accommodation and employment, to homeless people all year round. Last year they supported 250 individuals with shelter and services, and provided 14000 beds. 

Recently, all the washing machines broke, and there was a minor crisis trying to replace them. Although they managed to find a new machine, they still need money to run and maintain the shelter because they are entirely funded by private donations.
