Story

As most of you know, childhood cancer is a cause that is close to my heart. Over the last 5 years I have had the absolute privilege to work closely with a number of incredible childhood cancer charities, including the CCLG, who provide crucial support for children, young people and their families who are sadly diagnosed with cancer.

The pandemic has led to delays to cancer diagnosis and treatment, which could lead to as many as 35,000 additional deaths. With more than 55,000 cancer patients in England currently waiting for key tests, the emotional and practical support provided by less common cancer charities is needed now more than ever.

As the need for charity services increases, the donations that they depend on have decreased. Many fundraising events have been cancelled or postponed but with your help, CCLG can keep funding life saving research.

My friend, Ashley (CEO of CCLG) has convinced me to make a TikTok a day for the 20for20 challenge during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. This will be excruciatingly embarrassing so I am calling upon you all to donate as much as you can (there’s no such thing as too little!) towards my humiliation. Ashley has promised to do a socially distanced guest appearance on day 20 too!!!

Plus he said that you can submit requests in the comments below (be kind!!!!!).

Thank you all for your kind support, see you on the other side!!

Best Wishes
