Story
Newham All Star Sports Academy (NASSA) is about more than just basketball.
We are interested in developing the whole person. We want to show young people that there is more to life than just material material things.
We know that we can make a difference to every child that comes through our doors.
We want the young people that are part of NASSA to develop a respect for themselves and others.
We want them to recognise that whilst they are as good as the next person, they can also always learn from someone else.
If they are talented we will nurture and develop that talent,
If they lack confidence we help them to develop skills and self-awareness so that they become more confident.
If they aren't doing well at school, we help them to become motivated through sport so that they are able to do better at school.
It makes no difference if you are able bodied or have a disability, we want the children to understand that everyone of them is valuable part of the NASSA team.
