As many of you know I often try and find ways of raising money for this charity so close to my heart and this has often taken the form of large amounts of training to complete endurance tasks.  This time I’m mixing things up a bit - and I think it might be the most challenging year yet!

I have decided that for all of 2019 in each month I will give something up or take something up (although my plan is to frame this in the positive - I.e I will be taking up sobriety as oppose to giving up drinking in February!)

The first two month are sorted - I already successfully completed taking up Veganism for January and am about to embark on a dry February (those that know me know this is quite a major and daunting challenge!)

As for the remaining 10 months - well these will be guided by your suggestions (I’m having a final veto though!). Ideas can be silly, challenging, physical, mental, fun, extreme or inane - as long as I can continue to work and live my life around each months theme and that fundamentally it is a good and positive thing to do.  I’ll run polls some months to choose the next month and some months I’ll decide myself.

You’ll all know I have a busy life, working, travelling, playing and enjoying it always. There are bound to be huge highs and lows through this challenge so I really hope you can all donate what you can to help me be motivated for the entire year...

So here goes... I’ll keep you updated.
