Story
Cancer...a word which sends shivers down your spine, a diagnosis everyone fears, an illness that tears families and lives apart.
Have you ever lost anyone to cancer? I have, more than once. When you hear about someone suffering from cancer, you sympathise and wish them well. However it’s only when it’s your own loved one that’s diagnosed with it, that you truly understand the extent of its damage. You witness your loved one suffer, you witness them fighting to see their dreams come true and sadly see them fail. The journey of seeing them suffer is a painful one and so is the journey after they pass as you struggle through each day without them by your side.
Having lost many loved ones, including my beloved wife, brother, cousin and close friends, I want to do something to help those suffering and to help stop the suffering coming to others. On 4th of August I will be cycling in the Prudential Ride London 46 in the memory of those I’ve lost and also to raise funds for Cancer Research UK. You can support me and also make a difference by donating on my page. Let’s beat cancer together.
