Story
Salam All,
I have decided to take this challenge because my sister bullied me into this (lol).
The real purpose for me to take the biggest challenge of my life, it is in the memory of my late wife Sadia (may Allah be pleased with her). Whatever is raised is to benefit her for the hereafter.
The reason why I decided to take part in this challenge with Ebrahim College isn’t just for my late wife or me but to help the future students of Ebrahim College as well as the entire project that Khalil Foundation is involved in.
The chosen charity, Khalil Foundation has been established to help contribute towards Islamic Education it’s all Sadaqah Jariya, The beauty of Sadaqa Jariyah is that you will receive its reward perpetually for as long as people benefit from your giving. The Prophet SAW said:
“When a man passes away, his good deeds will also come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (perpetual charity); beneficial knowledge, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased)”
(Narrated by Muslim)
This will be the first time I have raised money for charity so please open your hearts and contribute as much as you can because this is the first time I am doing this, my target is £1000 which shall In Shah Allah be easy.
(Please note that the flight, accommodation and ummrah (plus visa) is totally separate from this Fund Raise, this will be paid personally and whatever you give goes towards the Khalil Foundation)
