Clean water is the source of life. Yet, across the world, millions suffer and die due to a lack of access to what many of us drink, use, and take for granted every single day.

This challenge is deeply personal for me. In May 2025, I lost my younger brother — my best friend — in a tragic car accident just a few miles from our home in Edinburgh. He died saving someone else’s life. That’s who he was: always putting others before himself, no matter their background or situation.

Now, in his memory, I’m pushing myself to take on this journey — to continue his legacy of compassion and service by helping those most in need.

This November 2025, I will be cycling over 550km through the deserts of Saudi Arabia — entirely at my own expense. These funds will go directly toward building a water filtration plant that will provide safe, clean drinking water to around 500 families (approximately 2,500 people) living in a remote and underprivileged region of the world.
