Sunrise Social Newcastle In association with ACountyDownUnder© is fundraising for Action Cancer throughout the whole month of October. 

We have chosen Action Cancer for our Breast Cancer Awareness Month fundraising as it is the only charity in Northern Ireland that provides breast screening to ladies aged 40 -49 and 70+ these are ages not covered in the NHS screening range. For every 1000 breast screening appointments Action Cancer detect 6 cancers! The service is free to the user but costs the charity £120 for every appointment.
