The brainchild of cousins Akhmed Yakoob and Sohail Hussain, The Big Brum/Bradford Bike Ride aims to help secure much needed donations for charity Just Care.

From the goodness of our hearts we have self funded the essentials needed to complete this gruelling task. The charity we have chosen to support for this event is JUST CARE. A charity set up 18 months ago locally in Bradford by a couple of committed individuals who have done a vast amount of work within the charity sector, without a financial gain or reward. 

Just Care (Charity Registration No. 1182326) was set up in 2017 after the founders of the charity saw there was a need for both support and assistance within the local community. The charity works with the elderly, homeless, ill, those who have fallen upon hard times and animals. The Covid-19 pandemic has meant that more people than ever require Just Care’s assistance. Just Care need YOUR help to reach them.

The Big Brum/Bradford Bike Ride will take place on 30 June 2020. Two teams consisting of 20 riders will compete to reach the finish line which is halfway between the two cities. The rider to first reach the finish line following the 70 mile bike ride will be crowned the winner (together with their teammates and city!).

We want to give back to those that need support the most.The team consists of members from all backgrounds including owners of Law firms, solicitors, company directors and employees of companies all with a shared common goal; to help hungry, thirsty and neglected people desperately in need of help.

A 100 % Donation policy guaranteed. Since inception i have witnessed Just Care do an amazing job at helping the less fortunate, donating thousands of meals to refugees, helping cancer patients even paying for veterinary operations. 10 riders are from Birmingham whilst 10 are from in and around the Bradford area. Its turned in to a real competition with members of the team having a competitive nature and it is HOTTING UP!!!

Most of us are out of shape, not rode a bike for 20 years and some riders have some experience but none have done anywhere close to this distance on a bike.Please help us in way of supporting us by donating, sharing and raising awareness for us.
