Asalam u alaikum all. Hope your ramadan is  going well. Pls spare a few mins to read through my story.

Unfortunately unlike many i dont have an exciting excursion/activity lined up as a means of bringing in the donations. Instead i would like to take this opportunity to give a somewhat brief insight into my life and why i chose to do this. For the past few years Allah (swt) has blessed me with some very testing times regarding health, but last year i was humbeled with the seriousness of my illness- a life changing moment at the very least. That said 2 months ago, by Allahs infinite mercy and blessings i was honoured with some wonderful news which meant i was able to  witness another ramadan Alhamdulillah. Although i still have a long way to go i have now been blessed with another chance of attaining His mercy and one of the means of achieving this is by serving His people as best i can. My health places a restriction on being physically involved with ramadan as id like to be. I cant volunteer, travel out to distribute aid nor get involved in something to intice people to want to donate. All i can do is use the platforms Allah (swt) has blessed me with to reach out to as many as i can. Im not hoping to reach out to masses but even the few that i do will mean everything so long as my intentions remain sincere.

*I will in shaa Allah be fundraising for the people of yemen. UN warns by the end if this year the death toll could reach a staggering 18.4 million people. Subhan Allah*

There are around 40 hadith regarding people of yemen including a hadith in which the prophet ﷺ mentions how the people of shaam and yemen are blessed. During ramadan i have had nothing but constant reminders through the will of Allah regarding their suffering so i feel i ought to do whatever i can to help however insignificant it may seem

*Hadith- prophet muhammed ﷺ reported to have said -You are mistaken. The best of men are the men of Yemen, belief is Yemeni, and I am Yemeni (Ahmed)*

*Hadith- Yemen and its people were directly blessed by our Prophet ( ﷺ). 'O Allah, bless us in our Sham! O Allah Bless us in our Yemen!’
(Tirmidhi)*

May Allah (swt) keep our intentions pure and free from the evil of nafs & shirk, may our actions reflect our intentions (to appease Him only) and May He accept all our efforts and the deeds to stand heavy on the day it matters the most Ameen
