Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Sunday 26 August I will be participating in the Cotswold 113km Middle Distance Ironman to raise sponsorship for the Childrens Liver Disease Foundation (CLDF). Formed in 1980, CLDF is a unique national charity dedicated to fighting all liver diseases of childhood. William, the one year old son of a work colleague suffers from Alagilles Syndrome: a rare liver condition. William is currently the youngest Alagille Syndrome patient in the UK and CLDF provide support to both William and their parents and are looking for more funds so they can help more children and their families so please give generously.
The event involves a 1.9km swim, followed by a 90km bike ride finishing with a 21.1km run. I hope to complete the event in approximately six hours, injury and breakdowns permitting..!!
Whilst I really appreciate any contribution you can make I would equally like your support on the day. Knowing that some of the recipients of this message live nearby I hope you can find the time to come along and support me – there is no better motivation than hearing your name being chanted from the crowds.
