My dear friend Gary spent the last month of his life being taken care of in a St Margarets hospice in Taunton. I had never had any dealings with them before but was extremely impressed with the care and support that my friend and his family received at such a difficult time. The staff there were brilliant and the premises was of an extremely high standard in both cleanliness and appearance. I know these places run on limited funds and at times have to rely heavily on donations and fund raising to carry on providing the amazing help they provide individuals and families. So I am trying to raise some money for them in memory of my friend Gary Hendy by doing various things but starting with growing my beard for the next 6 months to aim to shave off on my 33rd birthday on the 2nd of July this year.
