My name is Shane Kennedy and I started the non-profit

organisation - Sled Dogs As Therapy UK. As the name suggests I train and

work sled dogs and use them for dog therapy. I work in schools, mental

health organisations, but the biggest group we work with is Help for Heroes.

In October I am doing an expedition/event thing. I am going to trek 100 miles across Warwickshire (my home county). I will be walking with a sled

dog to raise money for Help for Heroes. I'll start on 7th October at the most northern point  of Warwickshire, No man's Heath. Ill then walk down to the Cotswolds, then turn round and hoof it back to Coventry (=100 miles).

Ill be taking all my own equipment with me and do not plan on using hotels. As my companion I will have Koda, a well trained Alaskan Malamute. She will be carrying some kit herself, and keeping me company.
