I am running Hellrunner in Delamere Forest on October 17th. I want to take the opportunity to raise funds for the Countess of Chester Hospital and in particular the Children's ward. Both of my daughters have been treated in this ward and the care has never been short of excellent. The facilities and play areas for Children are an important part of the care and both of my Children greatly benefited from these.

What is Hellrunner?

Its a half marathon on trails through Delamere forest. Sounds simple until you include things like the "Bog of Doom" and the "Hills of Hell". Here is a little video of what I'll be upto.

This is a considerable challenge for me. I have never been a distance runner, or a runner of any sort really. I have to go back to my school days when I last run seriously and then it was on a track and rarely further than 400m without a little break......
