The Nazareth Trust works in Nazareth, providing primary health care, education, social enterprise and Christian service. It seeks to address the challenges of the region through integration, cooperation and delivery of key services with the love and compassion taught by Jesus.

Story

Hey folks! I was a medical student in Nazareth Hospital back in 1993, and this little Palestinian-Israeli city made a major impact on me. Such wonderful people, and the most dedicated healthcare staff. Although founded in 1861 as a Christian mission hospital, the staff and patients come from many backgrounds - all religions and none - in a region that sure could use a little mutual understanding. I believe in the power of healthcare to heal not only physical ailments, but communities affected by conflict and division. I've seen it work in Northern Ireland - it can work in Israel and Palestine too.

Last year the Nazareth Riders collectively raised £50,000 for the Paediatric Unit, and we hope, with your help, to do even better this year. We're raising funds for a CT scanner for a new stroke unit (slight change of plan from the original Dialysis Unit expansion) which is sorely needed.
