I have been fortunate to have met and witnessed the incredible work accomplished by Sr Christine Frost and her team to support the homeless, the elderly and the less fortunate in the area of Poplar during my time working at a school in the area.

Her tireless and selfless effort and support of the people is commendable; this has struck a chord with me as her work and contribution to society comes with no recognition or glory, just the need to help a stricken community.

 Having received an entry for the London Marathon, I decided that it would be an honour to be able to help her by raising money for a cause that is genuine and receives very little but does so much to make a difference in the lives of those less fortunate.
